We’re excited to share some big updates and enhancements that underscore our dedication to innovation and efficiency. Check out our new Carbon Footprint Reporting add-on feature, a sleek dark mode GUI theme, and major improvements to Business Entity tracking and Dashboard Widgets. Plus, we’ve added new custom components for better peripheral logging and expanded firmware update support for Panduit Gen6 rack PDU products.

NEW FEATURE

Carbon Footprint Reporting

We are excited to introduce a new add-on feature: Carbon Footprint Reporting. This update includes the addition of Workload Type as a standard property for Racks, bulk setting of Workload Type, and a new property: Average Scope 2 Carbon Offset % for locations.

NEW FEATURE

Dark Mode

Welcome to the dark side. Hyperview now supports a dark mode GUI theme. By default, the theme will adjust automatically based on your system preferences. You can also set it manually via the Account -> Appearance menu.

Widget Model Information

New Dashboard Widgets

Introducing two new dashboard widgets:

  1. Network Dashboard Widget
  2. Model Properties Widget

These widgets will appear by default in the Asset Dashboard. If you’ve customized your Dashboard, you can add them manually.

Other Enhancements

Business Entities
We’ve enhanced Business Entity tracking with several updates, including an optional Business Entity column in grids such as:

  • Location -> Information -> Assets
  • Assets by type
  • Connectivity -> Connection
  • Connectivity -> Circuits
  • Additionally, we’ve added an “Open in Advanced Search” button in the Business Entity Asset Associations GUI.

Custom Components
New custom components have been added to help log peripherals and components not detectable via auto-discovery, including Tool, Chassis Component, PCI Card, Heat Sink, Tracking Hardware, and Generic Component.

Firmware Updates
Hyperview now supports firmware updates for Panduit Gen6 rack PDU products.

Various Improvements

  • USB has been added to the list of port types,
  • The hostname property can now be deleted.
  • Discovery state is now available in Advanced Search filters.
