Custom Sensors and Circuit Network Path
Share:
Product Update: Version 5.7
This release brings powerful new ways to model your monitoring data, visualize your connectivity, and see thermal conditions across your facility. Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Custom Sensors: Calculate Exactly What You Need
You can now create custom sensors, which are numeric sensors whose values are calculated from a formula that uses other sensors as inputs. That makes it easy to derive the metrics that matter to your team without leaving Hyperview.
- Build sensors from formulas that combine existing sensor readings
- Manage them all in one place from the new Assets → Custom Sensors page

Heat Maps and a Smarter Floor Plan Layout
Spot thermal issues faster with new temperature visualizations, and build cleaner layouts with new floor plan tools.
- Rack Temperature Heat Map in the 2D, 3D and rack elevation views
- Fluid Heat Map (beta) on the floor plan layout
- Align assets, tiles and shapes with each other, and save your layout’s pan and zoom
- Sticky row and column headers, with template support for row and column labels

Connectivity Visualization: See the Whole Circuit
Phase 1 of connectivity visualization introduces a new Network Path tab on circuits, showing the assets and connections that make up each one.
- Select any asset or connection in the path to view more information about
- Export the network path as a JPG, PDF or PNG to share with your team

Other Notable Enhancements
Modbus Monitoring At Scale
Support for a large number of assets and sensors, with a faster monitoring pipeline.
Alarm Policies
A new “Warning only” option.
Battery Banks
Smaller, rackable models can be racked using a user model, plus new bank voltage and resistance sensor types.
Multi-tab Support
Improved across the application, with shortcuts to open pages in a new tab.
Data Collector
Podman is now fully supported by the installer.
