Rename Sensors Your Way
We’ve enhanced sensor management to give you full control over sensor naming. Power Users and above can now edit any asset sensor and change its name to something that makes sense for your operations.
Whether you need to align with internal naming standards, add location context, or simply make sensor names more descriptive for your team, you now have the flexibility to do it. No more settling for default sensor names—make your monitoring data work the way you work.
This enhancement streamlines asset management and makes it easier to identify and organize sensors across your infrastructure at a glance.
Important
Update Your Data Collectors
This release has changes and improvements to the Data Collector software. We strongly recommend updating your installed Data Collectors to the latest version to maintain an optimal monitoring and discovery experience.
Update Open-Source Tools
Customers using Hyperview open-source tools such as hvcli must update to the latest version.
